Homemade Caramel Sauce
Today we're making homemade caramel sauce.
All you need for this recipe is six ingredients.
Sugar, heavy whipping cream, water, lemon juice, salt, and butter
so you know it's healthy.
To get started, you wanna pour your sugar
into your saucepan over medium heat.
Add one-fourth cup of water.
Let the sugar melt until it is nice and amber in color.
It takes a little bit of time, maybe 7 to 8 minutes.
when the syrup turns golden brown
add whipping cream by putting a little at a time
stirring quickly with a wooden spoon or silicone spoon
until all are incorporated.
Then add 2tbsp of butter and stir that until all
melted and incorporated.
Allow the caramel sauce to cool for 10 to 15 minutes and transfer
it to a bowl for serving.
Put on the cake, ice cream, pie, shake, or whatever you need the
caramel sauce for.
Caramel Sauce is ready.
