Strawberry Sauce or glaze:
2 Cups of Strawberry (Fresh or Frozen)
1/2 cup Sugar
1/4 Cup Water
1 Tbsp cornstarch
Preparation:
Wash and optionally trim off the crown and strawberry leaves with the tip of a knife.
Add chopped strawberries in a high-speed blender, or use an immersion blender in a large bowl of strawberries. Blend until smooth.
Dissolve the cornstarch in the water and add to the saucepan.
Put the strawberries and sugar in a saucepan to simmer for 10 minutes.
Dissolve the cornstarch in the water and add to the saucepan.
keep whisking until it thickens into a glaze
Add 1/2 lemon juice and 1 tsp of butter, butter will give shining
The Glaze is ready, Strain the mixture through a strainer. Then pour the liquid back to the saucepan on low heat.
Remove from heat, and pour it into a bowl or container to cool down.
store it in the refrigerator. Serve it as a topping for cake, cheesecake, donuts, pie, etc.
You can add red food coloring for a brighter color
